Dance for Parkinson Disease
This is a dance class for people with Parkinson disease and related disorders and their care partners, held from 1:30 to 2:45 pm. No fee is charged, but dancers must contact us to register before attending. Tuesday classes are provided through a grant from Springfield Memorial Foundation.
This class is being offered in-person for dancers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 . Masks are worn for the duration of the class. In-person classes are held at the First Presbyterian Church, 321 South 7th Street, Springfield.
This is a live on-line dance class (on the Zoom platform) for people with Parkinson disease and related disorders and their care partners, held from 10:30 to 11:45 am. No fee is charged, but dancers must contact us to register before attending.
Please contact us for details; we are happy to offer technical assistance! This class will remain online for the foreseeable future, to accommodate dancers for whom this is a more accessible alternative.
