About the Friends

The FRIENDS were founded in 2018 by Joy of Movement dancers as a peer-led support group.  In 2024, the FRIENDS leadership chose to transfer organizational responsibilities to  the Joy of Movement.  The FRIENDS group is supported by the American Parkinson Disease Association, Missouri Chapter.

The FRIENDS generally meet every fourth Friday, from 1:30PM until 3:30PM at Chatham United Methodist Church, 104 W. Chestnut St., Chatham.

To register and to receive regular FRIENDS updates, please contact Eve Fischberg at joyofmovement2@gmail.com

There is no charge for attendance, but advance registration is required.

Many thanks to Chatham UMC for generously sharing their lovely church home with the FRIENDS!
